From our home base beginning in 1974, to our current 35,000 square foot "state of the art" showroom, office and warehouse facility, Prate Installations has emerged as a leader in the Chicagoland roofing industry.
Prate Installations maintains its position through sincere customer service and by continually investing in new and improved field and office equipment. Each employee is chosen on the basis of his or her individual expertise. This ever expanding base of knowledge and experience keeps the company current with the newest techniques of modern roofing and business management.
Our main geographical areas to work in are from Lake Michigan on the East to Rockford out West, the Indiana border to the South of Milwaukee to the North. We also travel and have recently completed large projects in: Sag Harbor, Long Island; Raleigh, North Carolina; Des Moines, Iowa; Milwaukee and Madison, Wisconsin.
Michael Prate sits on the Board of Directors of the Residential Contractors Employment Council (R.C.E.C.) since 1998. Michael is also a Director of the Construction Industry Service Corp. (C.I.S.C.O.) and has served as a Director of the Chicago Roofing Contractors Association (C.R.C.A.). In addition he has served as a Director and President of the Wauconda Chamber of Commerce.
